Fyrinnae Loose Eyeshadow Singles Review Part 2

In this review I’ll be looking at the Fyrinnae loose eyeshadow shades Debonair, Celestial Beauty, Serene Highness, and Rainier.

This eye look was created with Debonair all over the lid, Celestial Beauty in the crease, Serene Highness  in the outer corner of the eye, and Rainier in inner corner. Beyond Binary (covered in Fyrinnae Loose Eyeshadow Singles Review Part 1) was used on the brow bone. All shadows were applied over Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy and Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden. Paired with Kat Von D tattoo liner in trooper and Yves Saint Laurent Babydoll mascara.

Fyrinnae Debonair is a duochrome loose eyeshadow that comes in a mini jar for $2.95USD or a full sized jar for $6.95USD on Fyrinnae’s website. Fyrinnae describes this shade as “warm, shimmery lilac graced with a glowing coppery highlight.” I was not able to see the coppery highlight — the shade just appeared lilac and did not have much shimmer.

Compared to other Fyrinnae shadows, I found this shade more powdery and patchy to apply, regardless of whether I used glitter primer or not. I also thought the pigmentation left a little bit to be desired, especially since most of the Fyrinnae shadows I’ve tried are quite pigmented. This shade would probably work best as a base shade or inner corner highlight since it will not stand out on darker colors. Over primer this shadow lasted me about 8 hours.

Three star Applied a little patchy and had some pigmentation issues

Fyrinnae Celestial Beauty  is a shimmery loose eyeshadow that comes in a mini jar for $2.95USD or a full sized jar for $6.95USD on Fyrinnae’s website. Fyrinnae describes this shade as “a rich blend of shimmering violet and blue is enhanced with a touch of bronze sparkle.” I found this shade to be a cool toned violet with a subtle shimmer.

The application of this shade was very smooth regardless of whether I used a brush or my fingers. Although it was not necessary to get the shade to stay, glitter primer really brought out its shimmer. The color lasted about 12 hours over primer without creasing or fading.

Five star Applied smoothly with good pigmentation and lasted all  day

Fyrinnae Serene Highness is a duochrome loose eyeshadow that comes in a mini jar for $2.95USD or a full sized jar for $6.95USD on Fyrinnae’s website. Fyrinnae describes this shade as “medium cool violet topped with a vibrant highlight of varying green hues.” The green highlight is quite apparent in this shade, as is the cool violet base.

I found this shade to be quite lovely but somewhat tricky to apply. The shade itself is smooth to apply, but it was a little difficult to get the green highlight to appear, even when using glitter primer. I had the most success getting the green to show when applying with my fingers or a dense shadow brush. Over primer, the shadow lasted about 12 hours.

Four star A beautiful shade but tricky application to get full duochrome effect

Fyrinnae Rainier is a shimmery loose eyeshadow that comes in a mini jar for $2.95USD or a full sized jar for $6.95USD on Fyrinnae’s website. Fyrinnae describes as “glowing pale green… with a boost from a coordinating color rather than a white base.” I found this shade to be a very pale ethereal green. If you have used the shade Emerald from the Kat Von D Alchemist palette, this shade is similar but more green.

This shade applied very smoothly and was surprisingly pigmented for a pale green. The color had enough opacity to cover darker shades and was quite shimmery so it really stood out as an inner corner highlight. I think this shade could also be used as an all-over lid color for green eyeshadow looks. Over primer, this shadow lasted about 12 hours.

Five star A nice shimmery green with great pigmentation and application
