Stila Glitter and Glow Duochrome Liquid Eyeshadow Swatches

Stila Glitter and Glow Duochrome liquid eyeshadows are tubes of glittery liquid eyeshadows with duochrome effects. The line is a subset of the Glitter and Glow line, which was originally released as Magnificent Metals but has since been renamed after more finishes were released. Each liquid eyeshadow comes in a rectangular tube with 4.5 mL of product and a doefoot applicator. They retail for $24.00USD. Multiple beauty retails sell these liquid eyeshadows, but only Stila’s website sells all the shades (newer shades generally start only on Stila’s site and then make their way over to other retailers).

The duochrome glitter and glow shades, as the name implies, all have a duochrome shift. They tend to have a more holographic look compared to the main Glitter and Glow line. In general, these shades have very fine glitter particles, so they have a thinner consistency and less fallout. They really don’t need to be applied over primer since their application and longevity is just as good over bare skin.

Swatches are listed alphabetically by shade name. Swatches from the main Glitter and Glow line can be found here.

Enchantress

Enchantress is an peach with a gold shift. Swatched on eyelid over bare skin without primer. This color is overall coral. The gold shift is apparent but is similar enough to the base color that it doesn’t give a very dramatic duochrome effect. It has more of a sheer coverage that can be built up to completely opaque coverage.

Fairy Tale

Fairy Tale is an antique gold with a lavender shift. Swatched on eyelid over bare skin without primer. This color is more of a brown toned gold. The shift, while visible, isn’t as apparent as some of the other shades. It has more of a sheer coverage but can be built up to completely opaque coverage.

Into the Blue

Into the Blue is an medium blue with a violet shift. Swatched on eyelid over bare skin without primer. The blue base of this color is cool toned and the violet shift makes appear more cool. This shade has a quite apparent shift. It has more of a sheer coverage but can be built up to opaque coverage.

Perlina

Perlina is a white with a pink and blue shift. Swatched on eyelid over bare skin without primer. This shade is quite sheer so it seems like more of a glitter top coat than a true liquid eyeshadow, but it can be built up to somewhat medium coverage. Because of its lack of base shade, its shift wasn’t very apparent. It’s somewhat similar to the Glitter and Glow shade Diamond Dust but with smaller glitter particles and therefore less sparkle.

Sea Siren

Sea Siren is a purple-pink with a blue shift. Swatched on eyelid over bare skin without primer. While the base color is pink, the blue shift makes the color seem somewhat purple. The shift is decently visible. It has more of a sheer coverage that cannot be built up to completely opaque coverage.

Sunset Cove

Sunset Cove is a light pink with a gold shift. Swatched on eyelid over bare skin without primer. This color is similar to Sea Siren but more pink as opposed to pink-purple. The shift is not very apparent. It has more of a sheer coverage but can be built up to opaque coverage.
